Game Day Cram Session: B. West vs. Money Shots

Bremerton puts their undefeated record on the line tonight at 6:30PM at The Matt.  "It's a marvelous night for a moondance...."  On with the show.

Coach / GM Sargent on the roster additions and lineup changes: "We'll undoubtedly move Reddell into the starting lineup, with Cool, Plous, and Roth coming off the bench to start.  Sargent, Hill, and Burke will run the forward spots, initially.  We're going to be real versatile, though, with Roth coming off the bench, in addition to Cool and Plous's size.  Make no mistake about it, though; we're going to run, same as last week."

A key factor will be scoring the ball for the Westies.  In the first 11 minutes of the season opener, Bremerton failed to put up any points.  "Definitely, we need to get more looks close to the basket, rather than raking threes right off the bat," deadpanned Brad Hill, Bremerton newbie.  "Or at least make one or two in the first frame."

Scoring will likely get a boost from Chris Roth, former leading scorer for the Westies.  Hill and Sargent paced the squad in the season opener, with 9 apiece.  "Really, everyone was involved.  We all had our shots.  B. Hill's and mine fell more often, nothing more.  Tonight, could be Burke.  Carr.  I don't care.  My focus is on running the offense and putting forth a strong effort on defense.  Do that, and I think we have as good a chance as any to win."

The Money Shots, 0-1, were defeated last week by team Taylor.  Go Westies!
