Bremerton West Golf Club Details Leaked

The once-rumored Bremerton West Golf Club lives! Details have been leaked exclusively to B. Press (who else) about the upcoming BWGC Season One. There will be three preliminary events (tentatively scheduled) that will qualify players for BWGC Championship Series, to be held in September. Scoring for the events was not entirely evident, but it appears a points-based system will be implemented weighted for participation and scoring. Additional events may be added on on a TBD basis. Here are a list, obtained by Bremerton Press, of the tentative scheduling:

1. Bremerton First Tee, Presented by sargeque.com: May 3rd or 10th
2. Shawnee / Bremerton Open, Presented by Hy-Vee: June 21st or 28th
3. BWGC Masters Series, Presented by Bremerton Press: August 16th or 23rd

It looks like the Championship Series will consist of a multiple-round event, played Ryder Cup-style over a Saturday-Sunday in early to mid-September. The top two players in the BWGC standings will draft teams accordingly prior to the BWGC Masters Series in August. Hosting courses have not yet been announced.
