Westie fans will be happy to know that starting Tuesday, all games will be played at the Matt Ross Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The move out of Shawnee was a tough one, but team chaplain Zul thinks it is one that, ultimately, will pay off in the long run.
"We weren't getting a fair shake at Tomahawk. It goes without saying....and I think I can comment on this, because we no longer play there....the officiating was piss-poor. We set a new team record for technical fouls against AND ejections last campaign! What a crock. This new venue, well....it's much nicer, and we believe we will be able to prove to our fans that Bremerton West is closer to repeating the inaugural 7-1 championship season than it is going to repeating last season's winless effort. OTA's have been outstanding this winter. I'm genuinely excited for Tuesday and to get playing."
