Barfington West Week 3 News and Notes

News and Notes ahead of the Westies battle Tuesday Night and KSU's attempt to "Shock the World" Wednesday:

-High-Scoring Jr. F David Plous is OUT for Tuesday night's game. A press release from UMKC's Bloch School of Business and Public Admin released Monday has declared him academically inelegible for the game. The Westies will turn to Jr. F TJ Stack and Soph combo G Joe Burke to attempt to fill Plous' shoes. Plous is averaging 0.0 PPG this year, plus 4.1 RPG and 1.9 TOsPG.

- In a related story, TMZ.com has obtained a picture of Plous leaving a Columbia-area hotel early Sunday morning with a boot on his right foot. Unconfirmed reports put Plous in the area of the Aethna Night Club where s__t talking punk a$$ Steffon Hannah got club punched... (SIDEBAR- Bob Huggins and Frank Martin get all the crap for recruiting 'thugs'- how about MU's program? Carroll got shot, Kalen Grimes hit somebody with the butt of a shotgun, now this? Everybody blows Mike Anderson left and right, why exactly?)

- Touchstone pictures has recently nixed a sequel to Armageddoon after Ben Afflack dropped out. Attempts to sign Ronnie Chalmers to star in his place fell thru as Fox wouldn't release Ronnie from his contract. Ronnie stars as the popular 'Cleveland' on Fox's animated series 'Family Guy'.

- Why does Frank Caliendo's impression of Charles Barkley sound like Will Smith doing Muhammad Ali?

- KU 82 KSU 70 - Beasley's early foul trouble dooms Cats for the 87th straight year in Manhattan. KSU down 18 early and come back to make it close, only to have their hearts broken by Darrell Arthur, prompting Bill Self to call him 'Shady' 25 times in his postgame presser.
